TAMPA - Three teens have been arrested for an acid bombing Thursday, Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies said.
One teenager participated in five other acid bombings, and the other two are suspects in those incidents, sheriff's spokesman J.D. Callaway said.
There were no reported injuries in the bombings.
Arrested Thursday were Jonathan Andrew Sturch and Jesse Kyle Lavallee, both 19 and of Tampa, and Jason Wesley Hall, 17, of Lutz. Lavallee and Hall were charged with discharging a destructive device and felony criminal mischief. Sturch was charged with six counts of discharging a destructive device and two of criminal mischief.
A home at 13801 Springer Lane was struck twice - on June 19 and again Thursday.
One suspect said a friend had a dispute with a person in the home, and the bombing was in retaliation, Callaway said.
Other bombings occurred June 13 at 4605 Mirabella Place, June 18 at 19012 Huckavalle Road, July 22 at 14714 Castelletto Drive and July 25 at 5203 Landsman Avenue.
The bombs, made of plastic bottles, caustic liquid and other material, were placed on porches and sidewalks. They damaged the exteriors of homes and in one case a vehicle.
