It was so nice to read about Tampa Police Department Cpl. Vince Sallimo's kindness toward the woman he caught shoplifting food for her children.

I realize shoplifting can't be ignored, but in this case, Sallimo used common sense. He realized that this woman wasn't a criminal, just someone who was desperate to feed her children. Then he bought diapers, etc., for her. This policeman is a very generous and kind man.
