The future home of the Orlando Magic will be named the Amway Center.
Magic officials announced the new name Wednesday at a news conference outside the arena, which currently is under construction in downtown Orlando.
The new arena is set to open in the fall of 2010.
The new name isn't much of a stretch from the name of the Magic's current home — the Amway Arena.
That's because Amway was co-founded 50 years ago by Magic owner, Rich DeVos. The company is in the direct selling business and its products include household cleaners and health and beauty supplies.
