TAMPA - Bucs RB Cadillac Williams returned punts during practice earlier this week, but he did not participate in special teams practice Tuesday. However, the Bucs have not ruled out using Williams on punt returns as a backup to 2008 Pro Bowl returner Clifton Smith.
"He certainly deserves the rest. He was out here a lot when we were all on vacation," Bisaccia said. "Carnell is an option for anything he wants to do or we would like to do."
Tampa Bay was able to rest TE Kellen Winslow (ankle), WR Antonio Bryant (knee), WR Joel Filani (hamstring) and LB Angelo Crowell (hamstring).
Practice resumes at 10:15 a.m. today, but Morris is unsure if Winslow or Bryant will participate. Both jogged lightly on Tuesday, he said.
"I don't know if it's today, but I know they will be back," Morris said.
