College salon offers free kids' cuts

TAMPA - TAMPA Children can get free back-to-school haircuts for the next two weeks from students and instructors at Remington College.

The cosmetology program is offering the cuts for children 17 and younger at the school's Tampa campus,t 6302 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Suite 400.

The event runs from Monday through Aug. 28, during the school's normal salon hours. Appointments must be made in advance for the haircuts, which will be given by students and instructors from Remington's cosmetology program. Parents who bring in a child for a haircut can get 50 percent off salon services for themselves.
