TAMPA - Local residents reeling from the housing crisis can get answers and help during a free town hall meeting Saturday.
Florida's Attorney General Bill McCollum and other officials will provide consumer information about how to deal with and report such problems as fraud, real estate scams and loan modification problems. Lawyers, government officials and community leaders will be on hand to help answer questions or provide information.
The event, co-hosted by the Florida's Interagency Mortgage Fraud Task Force, will be held at Stetson University College of Law, Tampa Law Center, 1700 N. Tampa Street, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
