TAMPA - The cause of a two-alarm fire at a welding supplies business on 34th Street does not appear to be suspicious, Tampa Fire Rescue officials said this morning.
Fire crews responded about 8:15 p.m. Friday to the blaze at at Crumpton's Welding Supplies at 34th Street and 5th Avenue.
The fire was knocked down in about 45 minutes and under control in about 90 minutes.
The fire appears to have started in an office, and no one was injured.
Fire Rescue Capt. Bill Wade said today losses are estimated at $400,000.
