Body found in woods ID'd as homeless woman

HUDSON - The body found by Pasco County detectives near a homeless camp last month is that of a 46-year-old homeless woman, sheriff's officials said today.
The decomposing body of Kimberly Sue Goode, whose last known address was in Clearwater, was found July 21 in woods near the USA Flea Market and State Road 52. Someone had called the sheriff's office to say a body might be found there.
Investigators think Goode likely died a month before she was found, said sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll. Forensics and dental records helped investigators identify the remains.
The cause of death is under investigation. Detectives say the death is suspicious in part because of the phone call leading them to the body.
