Camp report: Tuesday at One Buc Place

Afternoon Session

6:09: Cornerback Aqib Talib intercepted Josh Johnson. At walk-through speed it's not much to brag about, but the crowd cheered.

5:46: Special teams are practicing kick return and coverage drills on the side field.

5:45: The Bucs are currently installing plays during an 11-on-11 period with each quarterback taking a turn. The pace is pretty slow. There's lightning in the distance once again.

5:21: Got to give the Bucs PR staff credit. They plan to make Tanard Jackson available to the media after practice to answer questions.

5:06: The Bucs are having another light practice this afternoon. Players are not wearing helmets or pads so it should be light work and play installation.

5:06: Despite the annoucement if his suspension, Bucs S Tanard Jackson is currently at practice.

Morning Session

11:55: TE Ryan Purvis just dropped another pass in practice. There is no way he makes this team if he does not learn to catch the ball.

11:52: The receivers continue to struggle, too. Mario Urrutia just dropped a perfectly thrown ball from McCown. C.J. Byrd got the gift pick on that.

11:50: And down goes McCown. The O-line contiues to struggle.

11:48: Here comes the anticipated 11-on-11 drill.

11:35: Luke McCown just hooked up with Maurice Stovall for a touchdown pass in a seven-on-seven red zone drill. Why can't they do that in a game?

11:06: For the second day in a row Josh Johbson is getting a lot of reps at quarterback. It's looking like this kid has a chance to make this team after all.

11:02: C Jeff Faine returned to the practice field on Monday but a day later he's not doing much. At this point Sean Mahan is taking the first-team snaps and Rob Bruggeman is taking most of the second-team snaps.

10:54: Looks like CB Aqib Talib is back at practice. He missed yesterday for personal reasons.

10:42: The Bucs are on the field going through the individual portion of the workout but one notable player not working out is TE Kellen Winslow. Winslow is walking around so he's probably not requiring any treatment. Could just be a day to rest some bumps and bruises.

10:34: Tampa Bay is currently in the second period of practice and DE Stylez G. White is not on the field. We will update you when more information is available.
