Dump truck, station wagon collide in Tarpon Springs

A dump truck struck a station wagon on Keystone Road in Tarpon Springs this morning, seriously injuring some occupants in the station wagon, police said.
At 9:38 a.m., the 1999 Mercury station wagon had just turned onto East Tarpon Avenue/Keystone Road from Jasmine Avenue when it was struck on the passenger side by the truck, which was going east, according to a news release from Tarpon Springs police.
Some occupants of the Mercury were taken to a hospital by Bayflite with serious injuries, police said.
The occupants of both vehicles were not identified by police.
The crash is under investigation.
