1 hurt in Pinellas home invasion

Pinellas Sheriff's deputies are searching for three suspects in a home invasion this morning in which someone was shot.
Authorities initially received a report of a person armed at a residence in the 5100 block of 37th Street North at about 11:10 a.m., said Pinellas Sheriff's spokeswoman Cecilia Barreda.
One person in the home was shot and taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, she said. A second person in the home was not injured.
Three suspects ran off following the shooting, she said. The home invasion is believed to be drug-related, she said.
