TAMPA - Quintin Williams completed 13 of 18 passes for 261 yards and five touchdowns as Jefferson cruised to an easy victory against visiting Chamberlain in a Kickoff Classic on Friday night.

Although the result and statistics will not count, the Dragons used the exhibition to showcase their new high-powered passing attack. Williams kicked off the game in style with a four-play, 56-yard drive that concluded with a play-action pass to starting receiver Andre Davis for a 40-yard score to give the Dragons an early 7-0 advantage.

The Dragons overcame eight penalties in the first half, including four in one drive, to take a 20-0 lead heading into halftime.

On two separate occasions, Williams lined up in punting formation before launching the ball downfield for completed passes. The first came on fourth and 11 in the second quarter and resulted in Williams hitting Andre Davis for a 31-yard gain.

The duo topped that in the third quarter by connecting on a 45-yard score to convert on fourth and 20 to put the Dragons on top 33-0. Davis led all receivers with six receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns.
