2 in critical condition after morning shooting

TAMPA - Two men were in critical condition Monday night after a shooting in north Tampa.

Hillsborough County deputies responded about 5:15 a.m. Monday to reports of a shooting at the Oaks Apartments, 11740 N. 15th St.

Joseph R. Williams, 24, was shot in the upper torso and was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital.

Curtis Haynes, 42, was found in the courtyard of an adjacent complex, Villa Seville, 11734 N. 15th St. He had been shot in the lower torso and was taken to University Community Hospital.

The investigation continues.
