Man Charged With Putting Trash, Rocks On Police Cars In Ybor

A South Florida man saw two unoccupied Tampa Police Department cruisers in Ybor City this morning and decided to put garbage, gravel and rocks on them, officers say.
The incident occurred shortly after midnight at 7th Avenue and Angel Olivia Street. The police units received minor scratches.
Officers arrested 34-year-old Richard Johnson of Opa-Locka. He was charged two counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief.
He remains in Orient Road Jail today. His bail was set at $1,000.
