On And Off The Field, Stars Shine

From a Food Network chef to a pilot who landed a crippled jetliner on a river to a CBS stagehand, celebrity sightings were as plentiful as first downs at Sunday night's Super Bowl.

The crowd erupted when Chesley Sullenberger and the crew of US Airways Flight 1549 were introduced during pregame ceremonies. Army Gen. David Petraeus, head of U.S. Central Command, flipped the coin, and chef Guy Fieri garnered a lot of female attention in Raymond James Stadium's west club area. Also during pregame, superstar Tim McGraw was on the sidelines supporting his wife, Faith Hill, who sang "America the Beautiful."

There also was a fair share of NFL greats, including 49ers coach Mike Singletary, retired Broncos quarterback John Elway, wide receiver Jerry Rice of San Francisco fame and Tampa's own Tony Dungy.

But the man who seemed to be everywhere was Biff Henderson, a longtime employee of "The Late Show With David Letterman." He was spotted in the parking lot, in the media workroom, on the escalator and in the line for the portable toilet. That Biff gets around.
