Nursing Magazine: TGH In Top 100 Of Best Places To Work

Tampa General Hospital has been named one of the best places to work by Nursing Professionals magazine.
The magazine named it number 69 on its list of Top 100 Hospitals in the Nation to Work For.
The magazine surveyed 25,000 hospital nurses to find out if their employers were family-friendly, offered flexible working arrangements, promoted equality and diversity and allowed nurses to give input.
"Our focus on creating a professional and supportive work environment for all staff is part of our belief that an expert workforce provides expert care-- and that's what we're all about," said Tampa General Hospital Chief Operating Officer Deana Nelson
Four other Florida hospitals were included in the list. They are Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, ranked 23rd; Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, ranked 27th; Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, ranked 58th; and Shands at the University of Florida in Gainesville, ranked 61st.
