ZEPHYRHILLS - One of the area's most popular restaurateurs is packing the customers in again at his new diner: Two Minutes.
Kruth Sombutmai owned and operated the landmark Hill's Family Restaurant on State Road 54 for a decade, but he closed shop last April and sold his property to make way for a CVS drugstore. He vowed to reopen as soon as possible.
Eight months to the day, he kept his promise and reopened in the former Beantown's Best at 5709 Sixth St. He didn't advertise. He didn't need to.
Within weeks, familiar faces are crowding into the new restaurant for Sombutmai's famous burgers, fish fries and $2.99 breakfast specials.
"You can get a good meal anywhere," longtime customer Roy Smith said recently, as he polished off a fish dinner. "But you can't get his service. We come here for his personality."

School Zones Focus Of Meeting
LAND O' LAKES - The Pasco County School Board will get its first look today at proposed attendance boundaries for two new schools opening in August.
The board also will discuss fixing a boundary oddity from the past.
Both new schools are expected to ease crowding at existing schools. Anclote High School, under construction next to Smith Middle School in Holiday, will draw students from Mitchell High and Gulf High schools.
Watergrass Elementary, being built in the Watergrass development off Curley Road in Wesley Chapel, will draw its entire student body from Wesley Chapel Elementary.
Parents and other residents with concerns about the boundary changes will get a chance to address the board today. Boundary maps can be viewed on the school district's Web site, www.pasco.k12.fl.us.

New Antenna May Affect TV Signals
TAMPA - Officials at WEDU, Channel 3, say viewers may experience brief periods of a loss of signal this week when the PBS affiliate upgrades the antenna and transmitter in Riverview in preparation for the mandated transition to digital television.
Because WUSF, Channel 16 and WTOG, Channel 44, share the same transmission tower, their signals may also be affected, according to WEDU spokeswoman Laura Turner.
"Subscribers to Verizon Fios and Bright House will not have interruptions of WEDU's signal," she added. "But those with Knology and Comcast cable and those that get a signal over the air will loose both digital and analog signals. DirecTV viewers will loose the analog."
The outages would likely occur today, Wednesday and Thursday, starting at about 7 a.m. and lasting for four to five hours each day.
WUSF's digital channels may face outages but the analog signal will not be affected, says WUSF spokeswoman Nicole Hawker.
