LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Connecticut looks pretty comfortable at No. 1.
Jeff Adrien scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds and the Huskies celebrated their return to the top of the polls for the first time in three years with a 68-51 dismantling of No. 5 Louisville on Monday night.
Hasheem Thabeet added 14 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks as the Huskies (21-1, 10-1 Big East) rolled to their 10th straight victory.
Terrence Williams led Louisville (17-4, 8-1) with a career-high 26 points but got little help.
UConn became the fourth No. 1 team in as many weeks earlier in the day, but managed to avoid the pitfalls that sent Pittsburgh, Wake Forest and Duke tumbling out of the top spot.
PITT 92, ROBERT MORRIS 72: Sam Young had 23 points and DeJuan Blair 18 for No. 6 Pittsburgh (20-2).
Jeremy Chappell had 19 points and added a team-high eight assists for the Colonials (15-8), who had a nine-game winning streak snapped.
WISCONSIN-GREEN BAY 75, BUTLER 66: Ryan Tillema scored 21 points and Wisconsin-Green Bay (18-6, 10-2 Horizon League) was 32-for-35 from the free-throw line in an upset of No. 11 Butler (19-2, 10-1).
KANSAS 75, BAYLOR 65: Sherron Collins had 16 points as the 21st-ranked Jayhawks (18-4, 7-0 Big 12) earned their seventh straight victory.
Baylor (15-7, 3-5) has lost four straight games.
