Dade City Race Of Hope Winners Run The Gamut

DADE CITY - There were about 140 runners in Race of Hope, a 5-kilometer race and No-K race held Saturday in conjunction with Dade City Kumquat Festival.

The race was hosted by the San Antonio Relay for Life and dedicated to the late Lee Brown of Dade City.

Anthony Plourde was top male finisher; Melissa Miller, top woman.

Jim Himmel won the male master champion trophy; Michele Musto, the female master champion.

Oliver DeWitt, 79, was the oldest finisher; Riley Lachance, 8, the youngest.

Girls 6 to 14: Autumn Welch, first; Maggie Plourde, second; Emily Nathe, third;

Boys 15 to 19: Carson Brock, first; Hunter Hedman, second; Jeff Wilks, third;

Girls 15 to 19: Teresa Christmas, first; Abby Fagan, second; and Marissa Sellars, third;

Men 20 to 29: Ryan Boyett, first; Rob Lefkowicz, second; Chad Abraham, third;

Women 20 to 29: Kimberly Inks, first; Magen Studebaker, second; Catherine Stevens, third.
