Hillsborough County deputies have arrested a Tampa man on charges relating to child pornography.
Justin Coppolino, 41, also was arrested on lewd or lascivious charges relating to a child under the age of 16, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Web site.
Detectives say that on Sept. 2, Coppolino asked two girls who were 14 and 16 at the time to perform sex acts. Coppolino took digital photographs of the girls and paid them, detectives say. He also provided them with alcohol, the sheriff's office said.
After the Sept. 2 incident, Coppolino befriended the teens and paid them to assist him in computer repairs, according to the sheriff's office. Coppolino performs computer repairs out of his home.
Detectives began investigating Coppolino on Dec. 30 when the 16-year-old went to the sheriff's office and turned in a CD that Coppolino had given her.
Deputies arrested Coppolino at 11:30 a.m. today at his home, 8504 Misty River Court. Investigators seized about 40 computers from his home.
Coppolino was also charged with promoting a sexual performance of a child and 63 counts of possession of sexual performance of a child, the sheriff's office said.
He remained in Orient Road Jail today, with bail set at $200,000.
