Fire Damages Tampa Apartment Complex's Clubhouse

A fire at a Tampa apartment complex's clubhouse caused about $60,000 damage, according to Tampa Fire Rescue.
Firefighters came to the Newport Villas apartment complex at 4902 N. MacDill Ave. about 1:42 a.m. today in response to the blaze. No one was injured, and the fire was under control in half an hour.
A Tampa Fire Marshal's Office investigator said the blaze was caused by an electrical problem, a Tampa Fire Rescue news release states.
