Ezell, Cyclones Thrash Aggies

AMES, Iowa - Heather Ezell scored 25 points as No. 21 Iowa State pounded 10th-ranked Texas A&M 67-50 Wednesday night, handing the Aggies their worst loss of the season.
Kelsey Bolte added 17 points for the Cyclones (17-4, 5-2 Big 12), who won their fourth straight and improved to 12-0 at home.

Texas A&M entered play ranked second in the nation in 3-point percentage defense, but that didn't faze Ezell. She made four straight 3s to open the second half, pushing Iowa State's 12-point halftime to 47-27 with 13:45 left.

Takia Starks scored 18 points to lead the Aggies (17-4, 5-3), who had won their last two road games against ranked opponents.

LINCOLN, Neb. - Kelli Griffin, Danielle Wilson and Jessica Morrow scored 14 points apiece and freshman Ashley Field had a season-high 12 in her first start to lead No. 8 Baylor (18-3, 6-2 Big 12) past Nebraska (10-11, 1-7).

Baylor, coming off home losses to No. 2 Oklahoma and No. 16 Texas, won in Lincoln for the first time in three tries.

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Ashley Sweat had 25 points and made the decisive plays down the stretch, helping No. 18 Kansas State (19-2, 6-2 Big 12) hold off pesky Missouri (10-11, 1-7).

CHICAGO - Natasha Williams had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead No. 25 DePaul (18-5, 6-3 Big East) to victory vs. Georgetown (13-9, 3-6).
Sam Quigley had 15 points and five assists as the Blue Demons won their fifth straight. DePaul leading scorer Deirdre Naughton had two points on 1-for-10 shooting.

FORT LAUDERDALE - Tiara Cook scored four of her 14 points in overtime, while Hailee Sullivan went 6-for-8 from 3-point range as Tampa (15-5, 6-5 SSC) shook off a blown 11-point second-half lead to beat Nova Southeastern (8-12, 4-6).

WINTER PARK - Saint Leo got 17 points from Dominique Daniels and 14 points from Whitley Washington, but the Lions (9-11, 1-9 SSC) came up short against Rollins (18-2, 8-2).
