Police: Tampa Shriners Hospitals Chief Arrested On DUI Charge

TAMPA - Police arrested the chief of staff of Shriners Hospitals for Children, Tampa Unit on a misdemeanor-driving under the influence charge this morning, records show.
Dennis P. Grogan, 58, was released after posting $500 bail.
Tampa police arrested Grogan about 2:15 a.m. at Bruce B. Downs Boulevard and Skipper Road, about 2 1/2 miles from the hospital, according to jail records. His blood-alcohol level was .089 and .086.
Under Florida law, a person is considered intoxicated at .08.
No other details were immediately available.
