Small Plane Lands Safely Without Landing Gear

TAMPA - The pilot of a small aircraft who reported the plane's landing gear would not deploy landed safely at Peter O. Knight Airport on Davis Islands shortly after 5 p.m., a Tampa Fire Rescue spokesperson reported.

The pilot, whose name was not available, was not injured, a report said.
