I am going to entrust all of you with a deep, personal secret. To this day, when my husband has to work late, I close the curtains, crank up the iTunes and sing as loud as I can into my hairbrush/super rocker microphone. I envision the crowds of fans, the lights and my perfect rock goddess outfit.

Don't act like you don't do the same thing. And now with spring's super influence from '80s rockers, we can all be rock goddesses.

I was a bit aghast when I first heard word of an '80s resurge, but, my dear peeps, the fashion gods were good to us. Using simple influences of rock goddess attire - rather than going all-out Madonna circa 1982 - designers pulled out zippers galore, adding just enough edge for any age to pull it off.

This GO International zipper dress in blue from Target (available starting today) is a great example of this hot trend. Wear it cinched at the waist with a wide black belt or tone it down with simple bone heels. If you have the nerve, don some fishnets and patent leather pumps for a night on the town. I guarantee you will have fans.
