The weather should be perfect for going to the Florida State Fair during the next few days.
In addition to the usual fair food, rides and games, upcoming free special events include:
•Cheer and dance state competitions - All day today and Saturday
•Square dancing - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday
•U.S.O. Big Band - 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday
•Irish-Scottish Day - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday
•Fireworks - 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday
•Jousting tournament - After 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday
•Baton twirling competition - 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday
•Ballroom dancing - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 15
