Pasco County firefighters have been fighting two unrelated blazes this afternoon, and while some structures have been lost, no injuries have been reported.
Preliminary reports from Pasco Fire Rescue say the first blaze was an out-of-control illegal burn on Shannon Lane in Zephyrhills. Dispatchers said about 5 acres burned and an unoccupied mobile home caught fire. It is currently under control.
The second fire was at the site of a recently closed shed-sales lot south of Mile Stretch Road on U.S. 19 in Holiday. Preliminary information showed a fire started in the attic of a vacant 40-by-80-foot building.
That blaze appeared to be under control.
