TAMPA - William Gomez and Christopher Serrano delivered more than 300 grams of cocaine to investigators, and Hillsborough County deputies also found three pounds of marijuana in Gomez's home, deputies say.

About 5:30 p.m. Monday at 4001 W. Waters Ave., Gomez and Serrano delivered about 315 grams of cocaine to a law enforcement agent in exchange for $7,500, deputies say. The men were arrested after the incident.

Investigators later used a search warrant Monday at Gomez's home at 8401 N. They also found a loaded 9 mm handgun in Gomez's bedroom, an arrest report states. The drugs have a street value of about $40,000.

Gomez, 30, of Tampa, was charged with trafficking in cocaine, conspiracy to traffic in cocaine, having a false identification card, armed trafficking in Ecstasy, being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
