The drawn-out divorce between Hulk Hogan and his estranged wife, Linda Bollea, may soon be scheduled for trial.
This afternoon, Circuit Judge George Greer told attorneys for the embattled pair to begin contemplating over the next 30 days or so a time frame for a three- to four-week trial. Greer said such a move would be "therapeutic."
Greer's comments came after the attorneys agreed on a couple of minor issues, including Linda Bollea's alleged reluctance to share monthly expenditure and income information.
Since Linda Bollea filed for divorce in 2007, she and Hulk, whose real name is Terry Bollea, have fought over a range of issues, some of them touching on Nick Bollea, their son, now 18, who was involved in a serious car wreck that left his sole passenger, Iraq war veteran John Graziano, with brain damage.
Bollea's divorce attorney, Raymond J. Rafool, said Linda would like the divorce case disposed of as soon as possible. Rafool said he would like it to be tried, if no settlement is reached, in either September or October.
