On Tuesday, federal regulators announced which television stations have decided to end analog broadcasts on or before Feb. 17, including seven in the Tampa Bay area.
About 1 in 4 stations across the country decided to go this route.
Other stations likely will opt for the changeover date of June 12, set recently by legislators to give consumers more time.
Anyone watching TV with over-the-air antennas will need a converter box to see the new digital broadcasts.
These sations will end their analog feed by Feb. 17.
