New Port Richey Man Found, Silver Alert Cancelled

A 66-year-old man with dementia who drove off in his landlord's vehicle on Wednesday has been found safe and sound, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.
The sheriff's office has canceled the Silver Alert for John Bucci. Authorities found him unharmed in the vehicle not far from his home at 7:25 a.m.
Deputies said Bucci borrowed his landlord's 2007 silver Dodge Caravan to drive to a McDonald's on State Road 54 Wednesday afternoon, got lost and spent the night in a parking lot nearby.
Bucci remained confused this morning and couldn't find his way back to his home at 11850 Piute Lane in New Port Richey, deputies said.
