U.S. 301 Reopen After Multi-Car Crash

The northbound lanes on U.S. 301 at Interstate 75 in Riverview have reopened after a multiple-vehicle crash with injuries blocked them about 10 p.m., the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said the crash occurred about 9:40 p.m. but had no specific details available.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue said initial reports were that one person was trapped and another person was ejected. A medical helicopter was requested to transport at least one person to Tampa General Hospital.
