Davenport Woman, 28, Dies After Polk County Collision

Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a two-car collision Thursday night that claimed the life of a 28-year-old Davenport woman.
Sharon Danespour was pronounced dead after she was taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center following the 7:49 p.m. wreck, troopers said.
Danespour was driving her 2007 Honda Accord south on U.S. 27 and approaching Legacy Park Boulevard in Davenport when a northbound 2005 Mazda driven by Jeannine Cora St. Onge, 46, of Haines City turned left in front of the Honda, troopers said.
St. Onge was taken to Heart of Florida Hospital in Haines City, where she was treated for minor injuries, troopers said.
No charges were immediately filed.
