When it came to love this year, the Pinellas County Circuit Court decided to offer a package deal.
Since Valentine's Day fell on a Saturday the court decided to move the third-annual group ceremony from the courthouse to the Florida Botanical Gardens, which normally charges a fee of $1,885 for a wedding ceremony.
"It was kind of fun to do something like this to show our human side," circuit court clerk Ken Burke said.
In all, 43 couples paid the county $93.50 for a marriage license to tie the knot in the Wedding Garden.
County employees worked on their own time to put the ceremony together, complete with a large red and white sheet cake that read "Congratulations on your Wedding Day."
