SARASOTA - Friends of a 49-year-old hotel owner missing on Florida's Gulf Coast are frustrated police haven't found her, or made any arrests, in a months-long case.
Sabine Musil-Buehler hasn't been seen since November, but authorities discovered her vehicle stolen and stained with blood. The man driving it and two others, the woman's boyfriend and estranged husband, are at the center of the probe.
None have been charged, but two of the three are in jail for unrelated cases.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office says it's still processing evidence from the car, including the woman's blood. A spokesman says investigators continue to work substantial leads and tips.
Friends say Musil-Buehler was well-liked both on Anna Maria Island and in her native Germany.
