Police Arrest Suspected Purse-Snatcher

TAMPA - Police have arrested the man they say stole a purse from a 74-year-old woman on Valentine's Day.

Deondre Smith, 19, of 34106 E. 21st St., was arrested this morning and charged with armed robbery.

Police say Smith grabbed the woman's purse shortly after 1 p.m. Saturday as she was walking to her car outside Value Pawn on 40th Street.
