10 People Injured In Pinellas Transit Bus Wreck

Authorities responded to a wreck involving a Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority bus this afternoon.
PSTA spokesman Bob Lasher said 10 people suffered minor injuries in the 12:30 p.m. wreck on Roosevelt Boulevard, just northeast of St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport.
Lasher said the bus was stopped picking up passengers when a box truck driver approaching it from behind and tried to swerve around the bus but struck it instead. The box truck then rotated in the air and struck the front of the bus, Lasher said.
