St. Petersburg police are looking for two men they say robbed a Bank of America this morning.
A man walked into the bank at 6201 Central Ave. about 9:30 a.m. He gave the teller a note and implied he had a handgun, police say. After the man got an undisclosed amount of cash, he got into an older model GM minivan parked in the lot.
Police saw the van on 62nd Street then turn toward First Avenue South. Before police could stop the van, the two men abandoned it at Third Avenue and 51st Street South and ran away.

The driver of the van is black with braids in his hair. Police did not have any more details on the driver.
