TAMPA - JetBlue Airways, the ninth busiest carrier at Tampa International Airport, has begun a ticket refund program to bolster confidence that a traveler's potential job loss will not result in being stuck with a ticket the person could not afford.
Customers 18 or older who involuntarily lose a job on or after Feb. 17, and who purchased tickets from Feb. 1 through May 30, will be eligible to cancel a reservation and receive a refund.
The program does not apply to code-share flights. JetBlue must receive refund requests no less than 14 days before the departure of the outbound flight.
Other rules that pertain, including submitting a notarized eligibility letter to JetBlue, can be found at www.jetblue.com/promiseprogram.
