Largo Police: Sex Offender Charged With Lewd Conduct

Largo police arrested a registered sex offender Tuesday on charges he had sex with a 15-year-old girl while a 14-year-old girl watched.

Dorian Gardener, 23, of 1329 Drew St., No. 7, Clearwater, was charged with lewd and lascivious conduct, lewd and lascivious exhibition and violating his probation on a 2004 lewd and lascivious molestation charge.

He was being held without bail at the Pinellas County Jail. The Jamaican immigrant also has drawn the attention of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Gardener met the 15-year-old girl at a Wal-Mart parking lot, arrest affidavits say. On Feb. 16, he went to the girl's home and had sex with her in front of her 14-year-old friend.

Gardener tried to get the 14-year-old girl to join them, the affidavits say.
