ELFERS - A 22-year-old man was arrested by Pasco deputies Tuesday, accused of attacking another man with a knife earlier this month.
Robert "Red Rob" Bowens, of 5430 Poinsettia Drive, faces a charge of armed robbery and is being held at Land O' Lakes Jail. He also is accused of violating a restraining order. His bail is set at $50,500.
Deputies say Bowens was one of two masked men who attacked Brian "David" Shaw.
According to Shaw and sheriff's office reports, Shaw and his former girlfriend, Jessica Duke, arrived at her grandfather's home just before 2 a.m. Feb. 2. The door was locked and Duke had lost her keys to the home, 4445 Spring Lake Court, where she also lives.
When they tried to get in through a sliding glass door in the back, two men with white shirts tied around their faces attacked Shaw.
Shaw was stabbed and cut in the abdomen, head and ear. He said the attackers took his wallet, containing $60.
Duke was not injured.
Bowens was arrested at Duke's residence. The other suspect remains at large, sheriff's officials said.
In October, Duke was granted a domestic violence injunction against Bowens, which remains in effect, court records state. The details of the restraining order weren't immediately available, but Duke filed a motion to dismiss the order today.
