Staff changes at chamber

NEW PORT RICHEY - The West Pasco Chamber of Commerce recently promoted Tina Shelton and welcomed back Dan Sullivan to its staff.

Shelton has stepped up to become the events and marketing coordinator, according to Chamber of Commerce President Joe Alpine. She previously was membership director for the business organization.

Shelton will oversee events such as Business Development Week, Corporate Spelling Bee, Downtown New Port Richey Street Parade, Chasco Fiesta Golf Tournament and the Annual Chamber Banquet.

She will also help to plan, direct and coordinate the chamber's various committees, and will assist the Chamber in developing additional programs for business people to attend.

Meanwhile, Sullivan has been hired as the new-membership director and Cotee River October Bikefest coordinator. He will promote the benefits of chamber membership and supervise the Bikefest in October.

Sullivan is the former President of Z-TURF Inc. and a business account executive with Alltel Business.
