LAND O' LAKES - The Pasco County School Board approved attendance boundaries for Watergrass Elementary School and Anclote High School Tuesday night.
The vote came without the parental outcry that sometimes accompanies attendance boundary changes.
"I had not one comment," board member Kathryn Starkey said.
Watergrass Elementary is under construction in the Watergrass development off Curley Road in Wesley Chapel. It will draw students from Wesley Chapel Elementary, one of the county's most-crowded schools.
Anclote High is being built in Holiday next to Smith Middle School. Anclote's students will come from Mitchell High and Gulf High.
Both of the new schools are scheduled to open in August.
In other action, school board members agreed to increase meal prices in school cafeterias.
Breakfast will cost 5 cents more, bringing the prices to $1.20 for elementary schools, $1.35 for middle and high schools, and $1.55 for adults.
Lunch will cost 10 cents more, bringing prices to $1.90 for elementary schools and $2.40 for middle and high schools. Adult lunch prices will remain at $3.25. A memo sent last week to school board members incorrectly stated the price for adult lunches and the fact it would not change.
The new prices take effect March 9.
In August, when the 2009-10 school year begins, the breakfast prices will increase another 5 cents. Lunch prices, including those for adults, will go up an additional 10 cents.
