The 33rd edition of Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park is winding down, with three nights of Crate Late Model and Mod Lites action closing out the program's three-week run.
In the NeSmith Crate Late Model series, racing tonight and Friday will feature 40-lap main events paying $2,500 to win. Saturday's main event finale will be 50 laps, with the winner to receive $3,000.
The event draws racers from the U.S. and Canada to the one-third-mile clay oval in Gibsonton.
Missouri's Jesse Hockett joined the prestigious list of winners of the Ronald Laney Memorial sprint race, claiming $13,000 in prize and bonus money for winning the 40-lap King of the 360s race.
In the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Models series, West Virginia's Josh Richards won three races in two days for a combined $25,000 pay day.
