Polk Deputies Investigating Fatal Stabbing

Polk County sheriff's detectives are investigating a stabbing death that occurred tonight near the intersection of Harrelson and Chart Pine roads in North Lakeland.
The sheriff's office received a call about a suspicious incident at 7:24 p.m. When deputies responded, they found the male victim. The man was transported to Lakeland Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
The man's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
