CONNECTICUT - Authorities say a former Connecticut youth soccer club volunteer has received a 15-year prison sentence for an Internet sex case in Florida.
Leonard Shuster pleaded guilty last week to using the Internet to lure a child, traveling to meet a minor for illegal sexual conduct, possession of child pornography and transmitting child pornography with electronic equipment.
The 47-year-old former Danbury resident was a married father of three when he was arrested on April 1, 2008.
Authorities say he flew to Orlando intending to have sex with a woman and her 7-year-old daughter in nearby Clermont, Fla. Detectives had pretended to be the fictional woman as part of an Internet sex sting investigation.
Shuster originally faced more than 500 charges in the case.
