A fire at a mobile home park north of Thonotosassa has been extinguished, but not before burning about 3 acres, an unoccupied mobile home and a pole barn, Hillsborough County firefighters say.
The one-alarm fire, at Sandy Oaks Boulevard and Dormany Loop Road, was called in to authorities about 12:39 p.m. today, Hillsborough Fire Rescue spokesman Ray Yeakley said.
No one was injured, and no occupied structures were damaged. No operational vehicles were damaged.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
