WINTER HAVEN - A methamphetamine lab inside a home has been shut down, the Polk County Sheriff's Office says.
Undercover detectives served a search warrant at 137 Ninth St. W. in the Wahneta area of Winter Haven on Wednesday after investigating drug activity in the area, spokeswoman Carrie Eleazer said. They found a small meth lab inside the house, along with a .22-caliber rifle and ammunition, and several baggies containing meth.
They arrested Kathy Griffin Ayers, 53, and Billy Christopher Branan, 38, who both live at the house, as well as Johnny Ray Gann, 40, of 127 11th St. E., and Eric Millington, 34, of 152 12th St. E.
All are charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Ayers and Branan also are charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and maintaining a dwelling for drug use.
All four were booked into the Polk County Jail.
