MANATEE COUNTY - A 44-year-old woman was arrested on theft and fraud charges after authorities say she stole credit card information to get breast implants and a hotel room for Valentine's Day.
Julianne Johnson of Bradenton was arrested Valentine's weekend during a spa treatment at a West Palm Beach Gardens resort, the Manatee County sheriff's report stated.
Johnson was staying at the resort with a man who authorities say she cheated out of $20,000 in a botched business deal.
Authorities say Johnson also used the man's identity to open new credit cards and spent more than $3,000 on the accounts.
Johnson is also accused of charging more than $5,600 on another man's credit card at Florida Coastal Plastic Surgery, the Manatee Surgical Center and the PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens.
Johnson had previously written several invalid checks to pay for a breast augmentation at the Manatee County doctor's office, the report said.
A doctor said Johnson received the implants on Dec. 19 but did not show up for a follow-up appointment and did not answer phone calls, the report said.
Johnson is facing charges of grand theft, uttering worthless checks, fraudulent use of a credit card and identity theft. A warrant out of Texas for fraudulently obtaining a vehicle was also served to Johnson, the report said.
Johnson is being held in Manatee County Jail on $105,000 bond.
