PLANT CITY - Sparks from an incinerator touched off a fire at a pallet factory that destroyed about $40,000 worth of pallets, an official said.
No one was injured and no buildings were damaged.
The blaze broke out about 12:30 p.m. today at Pallet Services, 1705 Turkey Creek Road, a Plant City Fire Rescue spokesman said. Plant City and Hillsborough County firefighters brought the fire under control after about an hour.
The fire also burned about a half-acre of brush.
